Stock X Day took place on Friday, October 20, 2017 and all spots were reserved. People in attendance came from all over the World. I met sneaker heads from London, Turkey, and Paris, to name a few. What started at 9:45 in the morning morning with coffee, donuts, and much anticipation soon turned into a tour of the office filled with a bright future for the up and coming company. There was even a chance to sneak a peak at the top-secret authentication room, where most of the action goes down. Along with Dan Gilbert, Josh Luber (CEO) gave an informative presentation, followed by a Q & A. The event included influentials members of the society, store owners, press, StockX buyers/sellers, etc. Nike and Under Armour even had reps taking notes at the event. Local customizer, El Cappy, was in the building as well, contributing to a special give-away for a select few. It’s great to see what StockX is doing for the culture, while helping to revitalize Detroit.
