Technical Difficulties at Nike?

Recently, I posted that Nike required an access code in order to unlock a pair of Flyknits. An hour later, it suddenly disappeared. As reported, the Lebron 12 EXT “Wheat” is schedule to drop on April 4th. As of today, however, the Nike SNKRS app. has them listed as “Out Of Stock.” Considering they haven’t been released yet, I would assume it’s safe to say there are some technical difficulties occurring at Nike.

Access Code Needed For Nike.com?

This morning, NDC (nike.com) released the Nike Free 3.0 Flykit in a new color. Interestingly enough, the website requires one to enter their access code in order to unlock sizes and make a purchase. It seems that Nike is trying hard to combat bots. Should Nike require access codes for both their website and the newly launched SNKRS app. or is this too much? What do you think of this approach?

I entered my Nike SNKRS access code to see if it would unlock this item, and it did not.                                                                                                                                                                                             Update: At 11 a.m. (one hour after launch), Nike has removed the “unlock” button, and anyone can now add this item to their cart.

Jordan IV “Laser” Release Info.

During All-Star-Weekend, Nike released the Lasers in a limited run at their pop-up shop in New York. Today, Nike announced that this model will be released to the general public next Saturday, March 21st. These Jordan IV’s also have a slightly heftier price tag at $250 vs. the standard $190. Worth it? I’d say so.
